About Peppie

Hello and welcome to our website.
This is a great opportunity for us all to communicate outside of the pool and keep in touch with what is happening.

Firstly I thought I would write a little about myself for those of you who are not familiar with my aquatic history.

The water has been as much my home as land and some of the amazing things I have been able to achieve in my life have been due to my skills in the water. This is what makes me so passionate to teach others to love and enjoy the great benefits the water world has to offer.

I have been a competitive swimmer from the age of 8 through to 14 years of age both in England and Australia and I started teaching at Simpson Swim School at Rose Street, Armadale, VIC at the age of 18.

I moved to Noosa in 1990 and built Simpson Swim School on McKinnon Drive, Tewantin where we were for 10 years.

Between 2005 and 2008, I managed Rudd Swim School in Noosa Heads before, in 2008, I built the current pool at Cooroibah.

I have also been a competitive surfer since the age of 16 and still compete in the Noosa Festival of Surfing where I have won the 35yrs women 4 years in 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016. I also competed for the Noosa SLSC from 2001 to 2006 finishing my competitive career in 2006 as World Iron Woman and Surf Swimmer Champion.

I am a qualified Surf Coach and in 2010, I received a diploma of wellness psychology, majoring in hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming with the Mind Institute.
